Movie Review: IN TIME

Sooo... everybody knows that I work at AMC 30 in Mesquite, but sadly although I have the opportunity to see free movies, I don't exactly have the time to see them when I want. Well, this past weekend I went to work UBER early and was able to see JACK AND JILL and IN TIME. I'm going to discuss my thoughts on IN TIME, which is a movie that really caught my eye in its previews. The movie is based off a future aspired currency which is based on time. So if I wanted to buy a soda, I would pay four minutes of my life. The clock doesn't start until the human turns 25, an age that the human also stops aging. The clock is genetically a part of the forearm of every citizen. The poor people have no time, and the rich are practically immortal. I really enjoyed this film because I think this is a possible insight on the future ahead of us. I mean why not make time a currency, we use it everyday and all the time. It would only make sense to do so. The trick is to also brain wash the minds of the poor to never have an urge to rebel against the system. The movie displays this and how an ultimately good currency idea became a corrupt system. This movie is a must see, with main actors Dakota Fanning and Justin Timberlake.
