THE ROSE PETAL RETURNS

The Rose Petal Returns
Monday, December 21, 2009 (7:30 PM)
(I'm feeling contemplative)
If it was simple i'm sure you'd get it,
but your mind is far more complicated,
when i call you through my nerves ,
sending signals to my brain,
waiting patiently for the pain to remind me of the memory that made me sane,
I shiver because i am aware that you are near.
My goose bumps sink in meer elevation as your one rib meets mine,
And all my fears tremble behind me ,
or should i say behind ones mind,
But through the night you replied with your code,
And with strong hopes that your arms would fold i leaped in front of the portal,
but with a blink you were gone,
And my rose petal died alone in the cold that you called home,
The twilight zone,
the black space of the cracked bone is shown,
and my love cloned again.
Waiting lop-sided on the bench of reality,
ignorant to my fragility,
i speek with tears...that only years of pain could endure,
at this time alone i was sure,
sure that you were a meer part of a whole,
a meer petal of a rose,
a big piece of my world that makes me whole,
and without you ...should i dare sit in the cold,
waiting ....just waiting for the ice to mold into shape?
or maybe beg for your cape of heroism to save me from myself.
how could you come back and not say hello,
not add flavor to my jello,
not greet a fine fello,
wait...are you mello?
I'm afraid time has repeated itself,
deaf am i or meerly blind,
but at the corner of my eye i noticed something flew,
the rose petal has returned,
and ice...so have you.

"It's all about what you're going to do once you have the lemons...are you going to make lemonade? or are you simply going to complain about not having any sugar? I made lemon water, and liked it so much till when I had some sugar I preferred the lemon water. Till this day I enjoys me a glass of Lemon Water."
